Each year, Near Southside, Inc. holds an annual fundraiser which is vitally important to all of their initiatives, including ArtsGoggle, Open Streets, and Friday on the Green.
The Omni Fort Worth Hotel hosted this fun and unique event earlier this month. The evening consisted of dinner and drinks, awards, entertainment, and development updates for Near Southside – which is in the midst of tremendous growth. The entertainment included artists who painted large canvases during the cocktail hour, Durable Goods sewed custom pennants for guests, and guests created designs on small tiles that will be placed around the Near Southside area. There were also snake handlers and dancers.
Our own Ashley Tinsley attended as a guest of Red Oak Realty, and we thank them for offering a spot at their table.
All told, more than 700 people attended, and Near Southside Inc. reached their fundraising goal. This is such a special community and we’re proud to be a part of it.
