Whistle & Sway Salon Now Open

We would like to congratulate TJ Nolen on the opening of his beautiful salon in the Cultural District of Fort Worth.

TJ has been cutting hair for the last 18 years, and felt it was time to step out on his own.  He’ll admit to being terrified about taking that leap of faith, but “My wife, Allen Architecture and Fort made everything a much easier process than what I anticipated.”

The 1300SF space used to be a flower shop.  It was completely gutted and turned into a salon space.  “The layout is beyond anything I could imagine.  To watch Fort turn around and bring everything into reality was very exciting.”

So what’s his favorite part of the space?  The shampoo room – with the colors, the finish, the design and execution – he describes it as “wonderful.”  The other big compliment about his salon?  “Everyone that comes in calls it cozy and you don’t often hear that about a salon.  I love it.”

Congratulations TJ!  It was a pleasure to partner with you on your dream.  If you’d like more information on Whistle & Sway Salon, you can check out their website.
