Fort Construction was proud to sponsor and participate in the CREW de Mayo golf tournament earlier this month.
We sponsored the awards ceremony and entered two teams. Lunch was provided and then we tee’d off at noon for a fun 18 holes of golf at the Texas Star Golf Course.
Per Texas spring weather, we experienced all four seasons in one day – but everyone hung in there. There were golfing contests, a raffle, silent auction, and dinner provided by Joe T’s and Esperanza’s.
The two Fort teams placed 1st and 3rd (I promise it wasn’t rigged!) and proceeds from the tournament will benefit CREW Fort Worth’s leadership and professional development initiatives, including the Carla Higgins Memorial Scholarship.
Our motley crew included: Steve Fleiner, Kyle Kelly, Jayson Rodriguez, Stacey Sledge, Scott Price, Ashley Tinsley, Bridger Clader, Caleb Midkiff, and Ben Kern. Thanks to everyone at CREW as well as all the participants … we had a terrific time!
