When Fort Construction began this project, the area was being used as a parking lot. If you’re familiar with Southlake Town Square, it was the lot across from the post office and Five Guys Burgers & Fries.
Since the project began in late August, we have built a 12,000-square-foot building with 8,000-square-feet belonging to Z Gallerie; a store with affordable home decor and stylish, chic furniture. The building is brick and stucco with cast stone accents. Steel canopies with perforated soffits are above each entrance. And there is still plenty of parking!
The design is reminiscent of the 1930’s when strip centers were starting to pop up in the United States. The brick, the stone accents, windows, and framing, all lend itself to achieving this look. We would like to thank the owner for allowing us to build his vision.
Z Gallerie is located on the corner State and Prospect Streets. They’re preparing to celebrate their grand opening on April 22nd – and we wish them all the best!
