We are thrilled to welcome Mike Cunningham as the new CFO at Fort Construction.
Mike comes to us with a vast amount of experience, including 15 years as a CFO in the automotive industry, and seven years as the COO/CFO in the railroad construction industry. He also brings an amazing entrepreneurial spirit – having grown two businesses from start-ups to multi-million dollar companies.
Mike went to high school in Irving, and earned his Bachelor’s of Business Administration with a concentration in Accounting from the University of Texas at Arlington.
He has been married to Denice for 33 years, and has two kids. Denice owns and operates the Little Red Schoolhouse in Weatherford. Their son Brian is married to Amanda, and they have a two-year old son named Colt. Their daughter Bryn is married to Evan, and they welcomed their daughter Everly a year ago. Mike is also a golfer, so we’ll put him to the test when we participate in the upcoming charity golf tournaments.
