Fort Construction is proud to partner with Union Gospel Mission of Tarrant County on their mixed-use affordable housing development known as The Vineyard on Lancaster.
On Tuesday, we gathered with members of the Union Gospel Mission as well as community leaders for a “ground blessing” and “watering of the vines.”
We are beginning work on twin five-story buildings that will be located at 1401 East Lancaster Avenue in Fort Worth. They will total 102,679 SF and feature 104 multi-family apartments as well as several retail spaces on the ground floor.
The apartments will provide quality affordable housing for low-income and formerly homeless residents. Each unit (one or two bedrooms) will feature a full kitchen and bath, washer/dryer hookups, and 9-foot ceilings in the living room and bedrooms(s). Our expected completion date is toward the end of 2019.
Union Gospel Mission is dedicated to ending homelessness in our community, as well as helping the poor and underserved. Their programs offer love, hope and respect to those in need.
We would like to thank the amazing people at Union Gospel Mission for the opportunity to work with them. And we thank them for all they do in our community. We’ll keep you updated on our progress!
