While we grieve for the victims and their families of last week’s tragedy, I have been so impressed with Dallas Police Chief David Brown. His control and calm demeanor is in such sharp contrast to the behavior of one errant individual who took the lives of five of his men.
Our society is fortunate that there are men and women who choose to protect our rights, and maintain their professionalism, in spite of an “us against them” mentality.
