On September 12th, Texas Governor Greg Abbott honored numerous first responders, firefighters, and law enforcement officers who have been seriously injured or killed in the line of duty.
The Star of Texas Awards list included Euless officer David Hofer, who was killed in the line of duty, and Fort Worth officer Matt Pearce, who was seriously injured. If you’d like to read more, I have provided a link to the story.
