Stage West held their signature fundraiser Tuesday night, and we were excited to have a table there.
Acting with the Stars featured a wine hour, silent auction, wonderful dinner, and live auction. We also watched some very talented people in six short scenes that included a local celebrity teamed with a professional actor. Attendees cast their votes for the best scene, and drum roll please … Eva Bonilla, Owner and President of Vamos DFW Tours, and actor Mark Shum were voted as the winners!
Not only did we enjoy the fundraiser, we are going to start updating and expanding the Stage West Theatre on W. Vickery Blvd.
The first phase of the overall master plan includes remodeling and expanding the existing main restrooms. As we continue, we’ll add a box office/ticket booth to the front of the building, expand the inside dinner seating area with a balcony and terrace-type seating, and update rehearsal and actors’ dressing rooms and spaces.
This will move very quickly as we expect to get this completed between April 9th and May 4th!
