Project Feature – Adult and Teen Challenge of Texas

There is always more to construction than what meets the eye.  There is an end user who started with a dream, vision, purpose or goal.  This holds true for our client, Adult and Teen Challenge of Texas located in Azle, whom we recently completed their project bringing a long time need and dream to life.  Adult and Teen Challenge is a substance abuse recovery center, and this project will give them the opportunity to house and expand their services to more people.

The project consisted of demolition of an existing steel building and constructing a new housing complex.  The new building provides four additional sleeping rooms with multiple bunks, shared restrooms and a living room which allows Teen Challenge to accommodate 48 residents at a time, up from 36.  It also allows residents to stay for up to two years, up from seven months.

It is always rewarding to see a project or building come to completion and turn the keys and space over to the Owner, however, when the project has a heart for helping others, like Adult and Teen Challenge, it makes our job even more special.  We are thrilled for their new facility, and we want to thank them for allowing us to be part of it!
