New Office for HKS Architects in Fort Worth

We are currently remodeling the second floor of a five-story building for HKS Architects in Fort Worth. This building was built in the 1920’s so this space is getting new everything.

It’s located in Fort Worth at 1227 Magnolia Avenue between 5th Avenue and S Henderson Street. We’ll be installing new framing, new walls, plumbing, fixtures, flooring, offices, bathrooms and conference rooms. The lobby will feature a small café for their guests and employees.

This is a LEED Silver project so it will be energy efficient and produce less waste. Some of the main areas will feature knotty white oak flooring. We’re also installing several wall systems called Modernfold – glass panels that fold like an accordion. And you won’t be able to miss the Big A** Fan that’s going in the main lobby. Yes, that’s the name of the company – although I added the two **.

Our expected completion date is the end of December, so HKS Fort Worth is going to kick off the new year in a beautiful new space. This is our first project with them and we appreciate the opportunity to work with them.
