More Growth for DFW in 2019

I was excited to see that once again, all eyes will be on Dallas/Fort Worth in 2019. According to a report by PricewaterhouseCoopers and the Urban Land Institute, DFW topped 78 cities for “overall real estate prospects in 2019.”

There are a number of factors that played into the Emerging Trends in Real Estate for 2019 report. They pointed to our tax efficiency, the low cost of doing business, and the low cost of living which continues to bring people to North Texas.

Growth in the Metroplex is expected to be more than two times the national average in 2019. Overall, the report estimates high growth and low volatility when it comes to employment next year.

I can’t speak for everyone, but I enjoy welcoming new people to our community. New arrivals mean more commerce, more building, more available work force – and yes, I realize there are headaches associated with such growth, but I believe the positives outweigh the negatives.  Welcome to Texas!
