Fort Worth South, Inc., is a member-funded, non-profit group dedicated to the growth and revitalization of the Near Southside area. Business owners, community leaders, and residents have joined forces to offer guidance and direction to this fun, eclectic neighborhood.
After serving on the Fort Worth South Board of Directors for the last six years – including a two-year term as Chairman – I am stepping down. While I will not serve on the Board, I will remain an active member.
It has been such a pleasure to work with this group. We have seen development throughout the area including lofts, mixed-use buildings, pubs, restaurants, coffee shops, and entertainment venues. The development along South Main Street is just starting – and we’re not far away from the hustle and bustle that currently occupies the restaurants and bars along Magnolia.
I would like to thank Paul Paine, President of Fort Worth South, along with the entire staff for their friendship. This is such a dedicated and talented group of people – I must say the hard work and problem-solving was theirs, not mine.
