Fort Worth Continues to Assist the Homeless Population

According to the Tarrant County Homeless Coalition, there were almost 2,000 homeless people in our county in 2016. By their count, approximately 38 percent were women. In late October, the Presbyterian Night Shelter of Tarrant County opened the renovated Lowdon-Schutts Women’s Shelter. This particular center caters to single, homeless women, and can accommodate 160 women. …

TCIDA’s Building Taking Shape

  We are approximately halfway through building a new location for Tarrant County Infectious Disease Associates (TCIDA). The new office, totaling approximately 17,000SF, will accommodate research, clinic, and pharmacy departments. It is located at 1025 College Avenue in the Near Southside neighborhood.
