Fort Construction has just started a remodel for a new Lena Pope Early Learning Center. The new location is a partnership between Lena Pope and the UNT Health Science Center.
Located on the UNT Health Science Center campus at 3620 Modlin Avenue in Fort Worth, the center will serve children of UNTHSC staff and students – as well as families in the community. They will also prioritize 50-percent of available enrollment for children from low-income families.
We will remodel the classrooms, bathrooms and playground areas. On the interior, we will add new floors, paint, ceiling tiles, and doors. We’ll also add some offices and conference room areas. We will also reconfigure the bathrooms and add a little space. On the exterior, we will remove the turquoise stripe and replace the fabric on the awnings.
We’re excited to work with the wonderful people at Lena Pope, and we thank them for this opportunity. Our expected completion date is around late July.
