If you’ve been in Southlake lately, you may have noticed a new building taking shape in Southlake Town Square. The project totals 12,000-square-feet with 8,000-square-feet belonging to Z Gallerie; an affordable home decor store with stylish, chic furniture. The adjacent space will likely be leased by a restaurant.
If you’re familiar with the Town Square, this space is on State Street between the town hall and the post office – across the street from Tyler’s and Whole Earth Provision.
You can see from the rendering the design harkens back to the 1930’s when strip centers were just starting to pop up in the United States. This could easily have been a dry goods store, general store or department store. In fact, it looks a bit like Z Gallerie is renovating an older space.
Fans of Z Gallerie can celebrate their grand opening in the spring of 2016.
